The Holy Week
The night of his arrest, Jesus ate the Last Supper with his disciples. By all accounts, this was a traditional Passover meal, known as “The Seder”. This meal serves as the basis for the Christian ritual of communion to the present day. Jesus broke bread, blessed it, gave thanks and drank a cup of wine. The Gospels tell us that Jesus did something at the end of the meal. Do you know what it was?
Have not I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. — Joshua 1:9
